About Us JEWELL Engineering Consultants (JEC) founded in 1996 is a well-respected firm practicing in the field of Water Resources Engineering. The firm focuses on three primary areas of expertise: 1) municipal stormwater management program development and implementation; 2) surface water engineering including hydrology, hydraulics, and flood control; and 3) surface water impoundments including dams and lakes. Headquartered in the Heart of the Piedmont Triad, Kernersville, North Carolina, JEC has managed, designed and provided expert support for numerous water resource projects across North Carolina as well as in several states along the east coast.
